On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station our representative meet and greet by our office representative and then transfer to Shillong the 'Scotland of the East". While traveling enroute we stop at the majestic placid Umiam Lake surrounded by the lush green sylvan hills. Umiam Lake is also known as Barapani Lake and is a reservoir located in the hills 15 km to the North of Shillong. Umiam Dam, which impounds the lake, was built by the Assam State Electricity Board in the early 1960s. The dam's original purpose was to store water for hydroelectric power generation. It is also a popular destination for water sport and adventure like kayaking, water cycling, scooting and boating.
On arrival at Shillong, check into the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Dawki. On the way visit the following:
Shillong peak believed to be the abode of the deity that protects the city. Located at an altitude of 1970 mtrs. Shillong Peak is the highest point of Shillong and offers a breathtaking view of the entire city, the waterfalls, surrounding mountains and the plains across the Bangladesh Border.
Elephant falls locally popular as Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew, which translates to "the three - step waterfall. The name originated in the British era when the Englishmen spotted a giant rock that looked like an elephant near the fall.
After reaching Dawki boating in Umangot River (known as tamabil in Bangladesh) falls into India and Bangladesh border. The river looks green and still from above reflecting the lush greenery of the hills. The clarity of the water takes our breath away, while boating the pebbles and the fish darting on site adds fun to the experience. For adventure lovers camping, kayaking and cliff jumping can be possible.

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. En route stop at Nohkalikai Water Falls which is the tallest plunge waterfall in India.
Also explore the caves known Mawsmai. The Mawsmai Caves are naturally formed limestone caves which lit itself enhancing visitors to explore around. Though the caves are long, only a distance of 150 meters is open for visitors. The stalactites and stalagmites caves have innumerable forms, shapes and sizes inside leaving one to imagine as many life forms as possible. This magnificent natural wonder is the handiwork of years of natural abrasion and underground water.
Visit the Seven Sister Waterfalls also known as Nohsngithiang Falls form a seven-segmented waterfall, which plunges over the top of limestone cliffs of the Khasi Hills. It is the Fourth Highest Waterfall in India.
Eco Park created atop in the plateaus of Meghalaya the park hosts many beautiful orchids in the Eco Park’s greenhouse. A beautiful crossover bridge opens up the sweeping views of the green canyons of Shillong and the stretching Silent Plains of Bangladesh.

After breakfast proceed to Kaziranga National Park - A World Heritage Site, famous for one-horned rhinoceros. The park resides at an edge of the Eastern Himalayan bio-diversity hotspot and this could be the perfect reason to envision high degrees of diversified species with great visibility.

Early morning explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on elephant ride. The park is home to around two-third of world's great one-horned Indian rhinos and over 1000 Wild elephants and the highest density of Royal Bengal tigers among the protected areas of the world. In the year 2006, Kaziranga was declared as a tiger reserve. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. Kaziranga is recognized as an 'Important Bird Area’ by Birdlife International for the conservation of avifaunal species.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. After drive in jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park.
Evening visit tea Garden to witness the origin of the Assamese Tea.

After breakfast back to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati visit to the following:
Kamakhya Temple: A 16th-century temple, Kamakhya which means "renowned goddess of desire," and she resides at the presently rebuilt Kamakhya Temple in 1645 C. The temple is primary amongst the 51 Shakti Peethas related to the sect that follows Sati, and remains one of the most important Shakta temples and Hindu pilgrimage site in the world.
Time permitting evening sunset cruise at the Brahmaputra River.
