Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & Drive to Shimla:
Your journey begins with a pick-up from Delhi International Airport. Drive to Shimla (Approx. 7-8 hours, 350 km): You’ll travel via a private car, with a scenic route through the Himachal Pradesh hills. Arrive in Shimla, check into your hotel, and relax. If time permits, take a stroll along Mall Road in Shimla, famous for its colonial charm, shops, cafes, and local souvenirs. Overnight in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing :
Located about 16 km from Shimla, Kufri is a popular hill station known for skiing (in winters), adventure sports, and the Fagu Wildlife Sanctuary. Explore this park to see the unique flora and fauna of the Himalayas, including the state bird, the Himalayan Monal. Visit Mini Zoo near Kufri. A beautiful stretch offering panoramic views of the lush hills surrounding Shimla. Free time to explore Mall Road further or visit The Ridge for a peaceful evening walk with views of the valley. Overnight in Shimla.
Day 3: Shimla to Kullu & Manali :
After breakfast, drive towards Kullu (approx. 6 hours from Shimla). This scenic drive will offer picturesque views of valleys, rivers, and mountains. Reach Kullu and check in to your hotel. If time allows, visit Chamba (nearby town) for its historic temples, including the Laxmi Narayan Temple. Arrive in Manali (about 1-1.5 hours from Kullu). Check in at your Manali hotel and relax for the night. Overnight in Manali.
Day 4: Manali Sightseeing :
Start your day with a visit to Solang Valley for adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing, or skiing (depending on the season). Visit the Atal Tunnel, a marvel of engineering that connects Manali to Lahaul and Spiti Valley. It’s one of the longest tunnels in the world at over 3,000 meters above sea level. A picturesque village near the Atal Tunnel. It offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and the surrounding valleys. A serene waterfall located about 3 km from the main town of Manali, surrounded by lush forests. Return to Manali for the night. Overnight in Manali.
Day 5: Manali - Rohtang Pass & Khajjiar :
After breakfast, head to Rohtang Pass (51 km from Manali), situated at an altitude of 3,978 meters. It’s one of the most popular attractions in the region, especially for snow activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snowball fights (seasonal). You'll need a permit to visit, so ensure that it's arranged in advance. Visit Khajjiar (often referred to as the "Mini Switzerland of India"), a small hill station located about 120 km from Manali. It offers beautiful meadows and dense forests, with the famous Khajji Nag Temple. If time permits, stop by Ganji Pahad on the way. This is a high-altitude meadow with panoramic views, and it's known for its dry, barren landscape, which gives it the "bald hill" (Ganji Pahad) look. Return to Manali and relax. Overnight in Manali.
Day 6: Drive Back to Delhi :
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your return journey to Delhi (approximately 12 hours by road). Arrive at Delhi Airport in the evening for your onward flight or end of the tour.
